Young Enterprise Success!

The St James Young Enterprise Team – Bee-Usable – have been working hard over the year to startup and run their company selling environmentally friendly wax food wraps. Having started with nothing, they raised capital funding by selling shares that enable them to design, produce and sell their product. After their first day of sales, they made a considerable profit which they returned to their shareholders. They then continued to develop their company, learning valuable skills in finance and running a business. Sadly, due to the Coronavirus outbreak, the final sale day in Exeter did not result in many sales for any of the teams, but Bee-Usable continued to work despite the change in conditions. They produced a summary video which was reviewed by the judges in the regional finals, resulting in the team winning a prize for Teamwork. We are especially proud of their successes considering they were pitted against far larger and better-funded teams consisting of year 11, 12 and 13 students. Congratulations Bee-Usable!
