Charities & fundraising

In the last few years St James has raised just over £10,000 and we’re not stopping there!

St James is a community school that really values its community spirit.  Our kind students, parents and staff work hard to raise money each term to donated all proceeds to a local charity that is chosen by the students.  Recent charities include:

  • Guide dogs in which we sponsored a puppy (Leo) in memory of a past student;
  • ZUK-a charity that’s research specialises in a rare genetic disease in young children;
  • ELF-Exeter Leukaemia Fund;
  • Supporting schools in Sierra Leone and Kenya;
  • FORCE Cancer Charity;
  • St Petrocks;
  • Freddie Mercury fund;
  • SnackPack; and,
  • Devon Air Ambulance
