As part of a Trust of schools, we are celebrating successes and achievements here at St James School. We are exceptionally proud of all our students and are delighted with their results that reflect their hard work, dedication and commitment. We have seen a continued rise in performance across subjects with grades achieved in English and maths being a particular highlight.

Not only are we extremely proud of our young people for their hard work and excellent results, we are also humbled by the way they have responded with positivity and resilience to the challenges they have faced during the pandemic. During their time at St James, as well as showing dedication to their studies, they have contributed to the whole school and wider community, fundraising, mentoring and volunteering. They have epitomised our motto, ‘Work hard. Be kind.’

We are so proud of what they have achieved and who they have become – and we look forward to seeing how they use their excellent qualification and wider skills in their bright futures.

Some of the successes include 12 applications to the Reach academy, with a high achieving disadvantaged student securing a funded place, offers for 2 fully funded Scholarships at Maynards and 1 at Exeter School along with students who have been successful in securing places at Micheal Caines and Exeter Colleges Sports Academy.

We wish year 11 all the best of luck. We are very much looking forward to hearing about their successes in the future. Today’s results are truly deserved – they have been a remarkable year group who have faced such a challenging KS4. Well done to them all.
